LAHORE: In a major relief for domestic consumers ahead of the Holy month of Ramzan, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced extended gas supply timings to facilitate customers during Sehri and Iftar hours. According to the company, gas will be supplied daily from 3:00 AM to 10:30 PM throughout Ramzan to ensure smooth cooking arrangements for households.
In an official statement issued by Sui Northern’s Media Affairs Department, the gas utility said the decision has been taken to provide maximum convenience to consumers during the sacred month when gas demand rises significantly across urban and rural areas.
The company advised consumers that in case of low gas pressure or supply-related issues, they should immediately contact the Sui Northern helpline 1199 for prompt assistance and complaint registration.
Sui Northern stated that the announced supply schedule is aimed at minimizing inconvenience for the public, particularly during critical meal preparation times in Sehri and Iftar, when domestic usage peaks.
The utility further emphasized that operational teams will remain active to monitor the distribution network and respond to complaints in order to maintain consistent supply and address pressure-related issues during Ramzan.
The announcement comes amid growing public concern over gas shortages and low pressure complaints during winter and peak demand seasons, making the Ramzan supply schedule an important measure for consumer facilitation.
