The Embassy of Pakistan in Rabat organized a special event today to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day which was attended by Pakistani community members and others.
The participants highlighted that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute remains one of the oldest unresolved issues on the agenda of the UN Security Council and expressed serious concern over the grave human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian occupation forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, particularly since 5 August 2019. The event reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, and urged the international community to play its due role for a just and lasting settlement of the dispute.
