FGEHA compensates affecttees of F-14 & F-15 sectors with plots

In an apparent bid to compensate the affecttees of sector F-14 and F-15 of the federal capital, Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has awarded them with plots through the transparent process of balloting.

As per details, FGEHA has allotted plots of 10 Marla and one Kanal of land in a bid to meet the demands of the affecttees of sector F-14 and F-15. So far, despite innumerable challenges, 365 plots of land gave been allotted to the affecttees of sector F-14 & F-15, said sources.

They added that Director General, FGEHA, Tariq Rashid along with land section team has played important role to make this possible despite innumerable challenges.

On finding compensation of their land, the affeecttees of F-14 & F-15 has now demanded from DG, FGEHA and land department officials to immediately start second process and make possible second round of the balloting for the allotment of plots to the affecttees.

Sources of FGEHA said that the land department of FGEHA has faced serious difficulties in fulfilling legal formalities during the process of allotments of plots to the affecttees of F-14 & F-15. The land department team has worked in the office or in the field even during holidays and utilized two weekly leaves (Saturday & Sunday) to perform their duties. And, due to their untiring efforts, allotment of plots to affecttees became possible on 10th September, 2021.  They said in first phase, allotment of 10 Marla plots to the affeecttees of F-14 and F-15 as compensation to the owners of two Kananls and one Kanal plots as compensation to the owner of four Kanals of land. So far, total 191 plots of one Kanal have been allotted while 174 plot of 10 Marla has been allotted, said sources of FGEHA.

They added that second round of balloting for the allotment of plots of land will be done during the next month as land department of FHEHA, on the advice of DG, FGEHA, has been working day and night to make possible second round of balloting for the allotment of plots to the affecttees.

It is also learnt from sources that FGEHA has informed the affecttee that acquisition process has been completed in the light of a decision of Supreme Court dated 8th October. Similarly, affecttees of F-14 can now collect compensation of their land asFGEHA is all set to award BUP of F-15/3&4
