ISLAMABAD:
Prices of petroleum products likely to witness massive price hike as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has worked out an increase in the price of petroleum products by up to Rs10.50 per liter from 16th September 2021.
As per details, OGRA has worked out future POL prices and recommended an increase in the price of petroleum products by up to Rs10.50 per liter from September 16.
Sources said that the OGRA has sent its working to the Petroleum Division and proposed hike in the price of petrol by Rs1 and High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs10.50.
The regulatory authority has also proposed to increase the price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) by Rs 5.50 and Kerosene oil by Rs 5.50 per liter.
Finance Division, after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s approval, will announce the new prices for remaining 15 days of the current month of September 2021.
