Saudi Arabia has expanded its humanitarian support for Syria with the launch of 50 additional aid trucks as part of a relief land bridge to assist Syrian communities affected by ongoing crises.

The convoy, launched on Sunday in Damascus by Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), carried 673 tons of essential supplies. These included dialysis machines, medical equipment, food and shelter materials, as well as heavy machinery for debris removal and ambulances.

The latest deployment builds on earlier efforts in 2025, which saw 800 aid trucks delivered through the Saudi relief land bridge, along with 18 cargo planes under the relief air bridge. Collectively, these operations have delivered 13,561 tons of humanitarian aid, ranging from food and medical supplies to shelter materials.

Dr. Al-Rabeeah emphasized that the initiative reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Syrian people and providing resources necessary for a dignified and stable life.

KSrelief has been a central player in Saudi Arabia’s global humanitarian efforts, coordinating large-scale relief operations to respond to crises worldwide.
