The General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia has announced that Netflix will serve as the official global broadcaster for this year’s Six Kings Slam, part of Riyadh Season, bringing the tournament to over 300 million subscribers worldwide at no additional cost.
The second edition of the elite event will take place between October 15 and 18 at ANB Arena in Riyadh, showcasing six of men’s tennis’ leading players. World number one Jannik Sinner will defend his crown against a star-studded field including five-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz, 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic, three-time finalist Alexander Zverev, world number five Jack Draper, and 2024 U.S. Open finalist Taylor Fritz.
HE Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, confirmed the landmark deal with Netflix, which will stream the matches live and exclusively in more than 190 countries. IMG, part of TKO Group Holdings, will produce the broadcast, deploying more than 20 cameras with wirecam, drone, and robotic technology, alongside augmented reality graphics and expert commentary to deliver a premium global viewing experience.
The inaugural Six Kings Slam last October saw Sinner rally from a set down to defeat Alcaraz in a dramatic three-set final, 6-7, 6-3, 6-3. This year’s edition promises another round of high-stakes encounters, with some of the world’s biggest names vying for supremacy in Riyadh.
Riyadh Season, launched in 2019, has become one of the world’s largest entertainment festivals, attracting millions of visitors with concerts, sporting spectacles, and cultural showcases each winter. The 2024 edition reached a record milestone with over 20 million attendees.
Netflix, with more than 300 million paid memberships across 190 countries, continues to expand its live sports offerings, adding to its diverse library of entertainment content. IMG, a global leader in sports media and event management, brings extensive production expertise, having worked with organizations such as the ATP and WTA Tours, Wimbledon, the NFL, and the International Olympic Committee.
The Six Kings Slam partnership positions Riyadh Season on the global sports stage, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s growing profile as a host for world-class events and ensuring unprecedented global exposure for one of the sport’s newest and most exclusive tournaments.
