The Saudi Civil Defense team is in the final stages of its preparation for the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport, set to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from October 26 to November 1.
The team is currently holding an intensive training camp in Riyadh, with athletes participating in rigorous sessions twice daily — morning and evening — under the supervision of experienced technical and administrative coaches.
Officials from the General Directorate of Civil Defense said the training focuses on improving physical endurance, technical proficiency, and synchronized teamwork to ensure top performance in the upcoming international event.
The championship, organized under the umbrella of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers (ISFFR), will feature teams from across the world competing in high-intensity disciplines such as hook ladder climbing, obstacle races, and firefighting relays.
