The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 500 food baskets among flood-affected families in Afghanistan’s Nuristan Province, providing emergency food assistance to 3,500 people.
The distribution was carried out under the 2026 Food Security and Emergency Project, which aims to support flood-affected communities in the central, eastern, and southeastern regions of Afghanistan.
The humanitarian assistance is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing relief efforts through KSrelief to support the Afghan people during difficult circumstances and help reduce the impact of natural disasters on vulnerable communities.
Through various relief and humanitarian initiatives, KSrelief continues to provide essential support to affected populations and contribute to food security in crisis-hit areas.
