The two-day World Media Forum, which has been ongoing since February 20, has come to an end in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Eminent journalists from all over the world participated in the event. More than 45 sessions were held in the forum in which issues faced by journalists, investigative reporting, social media and its role and other issues were discussed.
The two-day media forum was organized under the title of role of media in the changing world, in which the future of media, modern training of journalists and not working as a tool were discussed in various sessions. Journalists participating in the event also advised to use the information available on social media after checking it.
In the Saudi Media Forum, journalists from different countries described this forum as the need of the hour for training and information exchange.
Stalls were also set up by several journalistic organizations in the Saudi Media Forum, in which a drone for live coverage, 50-year-old cameras and photos taken from them were installed to tell the history to young journalists. The equipment used in publishing the newspaper in the old days was also kept. At the end of the two-day media forum, awards were also given to the journalists who performed the best journalistic responsibility in Saudi Arabia.
