Three-Day Urs of Hazrat Kalu Baba Sarcar Continues at Mansar Sharif

MANSAR SHARIF: The three-day Urs of Hazrat Kalu Baba Sarcar (RA) is continuing with religious fervour and devotion at Mansar Sharif in Attock, with a large number of devotees from across the country attending the celebrations and paying respects at the shrine.

On the first day of the Urs, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Federal Minister Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Minister of State Daniyal Chaudhry, senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Chaudhry Riaz and other prominent personalities visited the shrine.

Custodian of the shrines of Hazrat Bari Imam Sarcar (RA) and Hazrat Kalu Baba Sarcar (RA), Raja Sarfraz Akram, was also present along with Dr Riaz Shehbaz Janjua, Mohsin Baig, Raja Imtiaz Janjua, Raja Sohail Yousaf, Malik Amin, Naeem Azam Khan, Faisal Khan of Golra, Dr Asif Janjua, Raja Shehzad Janjua, Raja Ayaz Janjua, Syed Israr Hussain Shah Bukhari and Chaudhry Manzoor, among others.

The distinguished guests laid floral chaddars at the shrine and offered Fateha. Special prayers were also offered for the safety, prosperity, peace and stability of Pakistan and for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.

A variety of religious and spiritual programmes are being organised during the three-day Urs, including Hamd and Naat gatherings, Mehfil-e-Sama, Zikr-o-Azkar and other religious activities.

Traditional Neza Bazi (tent-pegging) competitions are also being held as part of the Urs celebrations, attracting participants and visitors and adding a traditional cultural dimension to the event.

During the Hamd and Naat gathering, renowned Naat reciters including Al-Haj Tasleem Ahmed Sabri, Al-Haj Shahbaz Qamar Sabri, Al-Haj Abdul Razzaq Jami, Muhammad Amir Fayyazi, Mahmood-ul-Hassan Ashrafi, Muhammad Khawar Naqshbandi, Muhammad Bilal Haider, Muhammad Rizwan Khalid and Qari Syed Muzammil Hashmi, among others, presented Naat recitations.

The recitations created a spiritual atmosphere and were warmly received by the devotees attending the gathering.

Special security and other arrangements have been made at the shrine and surrounding areas to facilitate visitors and ensure their safety throughout the Urs celebrations.

The three-day Urs continues to draw devotees from different parts of the country, who are participating in the religious programmes and paying their respects at the shrine of Hazrat Kalu Baba Sarcar (RA).
