ISLAMABAD: The charges and inaccurate information stated in a report by an organization involving purported assaults on groups of Ethiopian residents while crossing the Saudi-Yemeni borders have been rejected by an official source, who has stressed that these claims are unfounded and are based on unreliable sources.
The official source criticized the creation of false claims against the Kingdom by some groups as well as the printing and dissemination of political and inaccurate news stories in the context of deceptive media campaigns that are frequently initiated with dubious goals.
The source emphasized that the Kingdom has given all necessary medical care to groups of people who had suffered firearm injuries in attacks by armed groups that attempted to force them to cross the Saudi-Yemen border into the Kingdom all necessary medical care.
In addition to providing humanitarian aid to those who are apprehended for violating border security, the official source reaffirmed the dedication of law enforcement agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the human rights principles outlined in local regulations, international human rights law, and international humanitarian law. They also noted that these violators are treated in accordance with the Kingdom’s regulations, which are compliant with international human rights standards.
