ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the fourth edition of its Etaam initiative to distribute food baskets across 27 countries during the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH, benefiting more than 2.3 million individuals.
The initiative, inaugurated by KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, will see the distribution of 390,109 food baskets, with a total cost exceeding SAR 67 million.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Dr. Al Rabeeah emphasized that the initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian aid and its efforts to enhance global food security and improve living conditions for vulnerable communities.

Since its inception in 2015, KSrelief has implemented 3,309 projects across 105 countries, providing humanitarian aid worth over $7 billion in various sectors.
The Etaam-4 initiative is part of KSrelief’s broader humanitarian mission, aligning with the Kingdom’s dedication to supporting those in need, especially during the sacred month of Ramadan.
