The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), announced details of the 5th Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, set to take place in Jeddah from November 9 to 12 under the theme “From Makkah to the World.”
Spanning an area of 60,000 square meters and encompassing 18 Hajj-related sectors, the event is expected to attract more than 150,000 visitors, surpassing last year’s 120,000 attendees. The upcoming edition will feature 143 specialized sessions, 225 speakers, and 270 exhibitors, along with participation from over 2,400 international trainees.
Speaking at the press briefing, Dr. Ghassan Alnwaimi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, emphasized that the conference serves as a global platform for exchanging expertise and enhancing services for pilgrims. He noted that the event aims to integrate technology, infrastructure, and human resources in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
A major highlight of this year’s event will be the launch of the “Innovation Zone,” which will focus on future-oriented solutions in artificial intelligence, sustainable engineering, and crowd management technologies to further enhance the Hajj and Umrah experience.
For the first time, Darah will enrich the conference’s scientific and cultural content. Its spokesperson, Sultan Al-Awairdi, announced that the foundation will organize a “History of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques” forum, featuring researchers presenting historical insights and exploring how technology contributes to documenting the pilgrimage’s evolution.
Complementing this effort, Darah will also host the “100 Years of Care for the Two Holy Mosques” exhibition, showcasing rare documents, photographs, and artifacts that highlight the Kingdom’s enduring commitment to preserving and promoting Islamic heritage.
The Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025 is positioned as a landmark event that combines tradition and innovation, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s leading role in serving pilgrims and shaping the future of Hajj management on a global scale.
