U.S. President Donald Trump received His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the White House on Tuesday, marking the beginning of a high-level summit between the two strategic partners.
The Crown Prince was welcomed with an official reception featuring a cavalry escort, a review of the honor guard, a military band performance, and a 19-gun artillery salute. Commemorative photographs were taken at the entrance of the White House before both leaders witnessed an aerial military display as fighter jets conducted a formation flyover across Washington, D.C., in honor of the visit.
Following the ceremonial welcome, President Trump escorted HRH the Crown Prince on a tour of the White House, after which both leaders co-chaired the Saudi–U.S. Summit. The discussions covered a broad range of issues including bilateral relations, strengthening the strategic partnership, and expanding cooperation across key sectors. The two leaders also reviewed regional and international developments, emphasizing joint efforts to promote stability and security globally.
At the conclusion of the summit, HRH the Crown Prince and President Trump signed a strategic defense agreement, underscoring the depth of military and security cooperation between the two countries.

The Saudi delegation included Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Ambassador to the U.S. Princess Reema bint Bandar, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Kassabi, Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan, and PIF Governor Yasir Alrumayyan.
The U.S. delegation comprised Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, and Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff.
