OGRA jacks up LPG price by Rs 10/KG for February

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 10 per kilogram for the month of February 2022 and issued a notification to this effect.

According to OGRA’s LPG price hike notification, the LPG price has been increased by Rs 10/KG for the month of February 2022. And, after this increase, the domestic LPG cylinder will be available at Rs2440 after witnessing a hike of Rs 120/KG while price of a commercial cylinder has fixed at Rs9387 after an increase of Rs 458 for the month of February 2022.

The new price is effective from February 1, 2022.

Chairman LPG Distribution Association Irfan Khokhar has already demanded from the government to give an end to all taxes imposed on LPG mainly to ensure availability of LPG at low rates to the poor masses and to the people of remote areas as well.
