A Royal decree has been issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to grant Saudi citizenship to a select group of scientists, medical doctors, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and other distinguished talents with unique expertise. This decision aligns with the Kingdom’s initiative to attract and retain exceptional global talents in various fields, including religious, medical, scientific, cultural, sports, and technological sectors.
The initiative supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goal of creating an attractive environment for investment in creative minds, contributing to the development of various sectors throughout the Kingdom. This Royal decree is a continuation of the Kingdom’s efforts to attract distinguished talents with prominent competencies. A similar decree was issued in 2021 to grant citizenship to the first group of select talents in these fields, further emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence across economic, health, cultural, and sports sectors.
