The Embassy of Pakistan in Morocco celebrated Yom-e-Azadi (Independence Day) and Marka-e-Haq (Defence Day) with a festive dinner hosted at the residence of Ambassador Syed Adil Gilani in Rabat. The Minister of Justice of Morocco, H.E. Abdellatif Ouahbi, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The celebration brought together ambassadors, government officials, business leaders, and members of the Pakistani community from across Morocco. In his address, Ambassador Gilani highlighted Pakistan’s decisive victory against India and reaffirmed the leadership’s commitment to building a nation worthy of global admiration.
He also lauded the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, under whose stewardship Morocco has achieved remarkable progress, stability, and international recognition. On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, Ambassador Gilani extended heartfelt wishes for His Majesty’s long life, good health, and continued success. He underscored that Morocco’s regional leadership, political stability, and economic growth are deeply respected in Pakistan.
The event concluded with spirited performances on national songs, as guests joined in the celebrations, creating an atmosphere of pride, joy, and patriotic fervor.
