The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in collaboration with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, has launched the Dates Distribution Project Pakistan 2025, reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities across Pakistan.

The launch ceremony was held in Islamabad and formally inaugurated by His Excellency Nawaf Saeed Bin Al-Malkiy, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. The Chief Guest, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt, Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, along with representatives from government institutions, international organizations, and humanitarian partners, attended the event.

Under this initiative, KSrelief will distribute premium-quality Saudi dates across all provinces and regions of Pakistan, including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, in close partnership with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.
The project aims to assist thousands of vulnerable families, particularly those affected by floods and economic challenges, by meeting their basic nutritional needs and enhancing food security.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Bin Al-Malkiy emphasized that the initiative reflects the deep-rooted friendship, brotherhood, and humanitarian partnership between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
“This project symbolizes our shared values of compassion and solidarity. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains committed to supporting the people of Pakistan through humanitarian and development programs,” the Ambassador said.
The Dates Distribution Project 2025 is part of KSrelief’s broader humanitarian mission in Pakistan, which includes programs in food security, health, education, water and sanitation, and livelihood support. These initiatives reinforce the Kingdom’s dedication to global humanitarian service and sustainable development.
In his remarks, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt expressed deep gratitude to KSrelief and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their continued support to Pakistan.
“We value this partnership that continues to bring relief and hope to thousands of deserving families. Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal is fully committed to working alongside KSrelief to ensure that this generous assistance reaches those who need it most,” he said.
