ISLAMABAD: In a recent move, Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Pakistan has announced the successful evacuation of 91 people from various countries, including Pakistani nationals, from Sudan. The operation was carried out by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces with the support of various branches of the armed forces on the directives of the Kingdom’s Leadership.
According to a statement issued by the embassy, the evacuation included citizens of the Kingdom who were in Sudan, as well as several nationals of brotherly and friendly countries, including diplomats and international officials. The embassy further added that a total of 66 people from Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Tunisia, Pakistan, India, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Canada, and Burkina Faso were also evacuated safely.
The Kingdom worked to provide all the necessary needs of foreign nationals in preparation for their departure to their respective countries, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the process.
The successful evacuation operation marks a significant effort by Saudi Arabia to assist its citizens and those of other friendly countries during times of crisis. The country has always been at the forefront of providing aid and support to countries in need, demonstrating its commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
