The plan, introduced on Thursday, focuses on serving pilgrims, enriching their religious experience, and creating a devotional atmosphere, with the launch of 120 religious enrichment initiatives.

During the inauguration ceremony at the presidency’s headquarters in Makkah, Al-Sudais highlighted the unprecedented scale of this year’s plan. “This year’s plan is the largest since the establishment of the presidency with its purely religious specializations,” he stated. The plan is a culmination of extensive preparation, planning, and study, reflecting the achievements of past Hajj seasons. It is designed to work in harmony with various agencies operating in the Two Holy Mosques, emphasizing collaboration and cooperation to serve the pilgrims better.

The 2024 Hajj operational plan revolves around multiple religious enrichment paths, featuring numerous events and hundreds of religious programs, including scientific and guidance lessons. Al-Sudais emphasized that this year’s plan also focuses on promoting volunteer and humanitarian work, recognizing the Two Holy Mosques as prime environments for such efforts. This emphasis is rooted in religious and Saudi values, highlighting the importance of generosity and hospitality.

A notable component of the plan is its digital axis, which aims to enhance the religious digital experience offered by the Two Holy Mosques. This includes integrating digital services, investing in technology and artificial intelligence, and utilizing applications and digital media to reduce the barriers of space and time. Specific religious initiatives are being activated to achieve digital leadership, ensuring that pilgrims can access religious content and services more efficiently.

Al-Sudais underscored the comprehensive nature of the plan, which not only aims to enrich the religious experience of the pilgrims but also ensures that all logistical and operational aspects are seamlessly managed. The presidency’s teams have worked tirelessly to prepare and implement a plan that addresses every facet of the Hajj journey, from spiritual guidance to practical support.

As the Hajj season approaches, the launch of this ambitious plan marks a significant milestone in the presidency’s efforts to enhance the pilgrimage experience. With a focus on enrichment, innovation, and service, the 2024 Hajj operational plan promises to make this year’s pilgrimage a memorable and spiritually fulfilling experience for all pilgrims.

In conclusion, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais’s unveiling of the largest operational plan for the Hajj season demonstrates the presidency’s commitment to continually improving the pilgrimage experience.
