A high-level Saudi business delegation, led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council, arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday to strengthen trade and investment ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office (FO), the delegation’s visit aims to explore new opportunities for collaboration in key economic sectors and advance ongoing projects under the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council framework.
During the visit, Prince Mansour and his delegation are scheduled to meet Pakistan’s top leadership, senior government officials, and representatives from major business chambers and private enterprises. The agenda includes discussions on trade facilitation, investment cooperation, and sectoral collaboration aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and Pakistan’s economic growth priorities.
“The visit underscores the deep-rooted and brotherly ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reflects their shared commitment to expanding economic and investment partnerships,” the FO statement said.
Officials said the discussions are expected to focus on boosting joint ventures in energy, mining, agriculture, IT, infrastructure, and logistics, among other priority sectors.
The visit follows a series of recent high-level engagements between Islamabad and Riyadh aimed at transforming bilateral relations into a robust strategic and economic partnership.
