The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has successfully concluded the final phase of its nationwide Food Security Support Project 2025-26 in Pakistan, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian outreach by providing essential food supplies to thousands of vulnerable families across the country.
According to details, the large-scale relief initiative benefited around 195,487 individuals in 31 districts spanning Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), targeting communities facing food insecurity and economic hardship.

Under the project, food assistance was distributed in 10 districts of Punjab, five districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seven districts of Balochistan, six districts of Sindh, and three districts of AJK. The initiative aimed at ensuring timely access to basic food necessities for deserving households struggling with inflation and livelihood challenges.
As part of the final phase, KSrelief distributed thousands of food packages weighing 97 kilograms each. Every package included 80 kilograms of flour, five liters of cooking oil, five kilograms of sugar, five kilograms of daal chana, and two kilograms of dates, providing immediate nutritional support to beneficiary families.

The distribution campaign was carried out in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs), district administrations, and implementing partners including Hayat Foundation and Peace and Development Organization.

Officials said the operation was conducted through a transparent and organized mechanism to ensure the aid reached intended beneficiaries efficiently across remote and underserved areas.
The successful completion of the project highlights KSrelief’s continued commitment to strengthening food security and extending humanitarian assistance in Pakistan, particularly for low-income and vulnerable populations affected by economic challenges.
The initiative also reflects the broader humanitarian mission of KSrelief to support vulnerable communities worldwide through relief, development, and welfare programs aimed at reducing hardship and improving living conditions.
