ISLAMABAD: Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has advised rotation in posting/transfers of officers after every three years and Ministry of Water Resources has directed all the concerned departments to ensure strict compliance of PAC directives.
The Ministry of Water Resources, in a letter dated 5th April, 2023, has directed heads of all the departments which are working under the ministry including Chairman Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), Chairman Federal Flood Commission, Chairman Indus River System Authority (IRSA), Chairman Pakistan Council for Research in Water Resources (PCRWR), Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Waters (PCIW), Chief Auditor WAPDA, and Project Director PPDU to ensure strict compliance of PAC directives.

In an Office Memorandum F.No 10(8)/2019-20-PAC dated 27th March 2023 the PAC directed Secretaries/ Principal Accounting Officers (PAOs) of all Ministries/ Divisions to ensure strict rotation in posting/transfers of officers after every three years. And, Water Resources Ministry has directed to ensure strict compliance of PAC directives.
All the departments working under this ministry are directed to ensure strict compliance of PAC directives, said a letter dated 5th April 2023 of Ministry of Water Resources.
