Saudi Arabia grants USD 10 Million to support Ukrainian Refugees through KSrelief

Saudi Arabia has granted USD 10 million to support Ukrainian refugees, through which KSrelief handed over medical equipment to provide health care support for Ukrainian refugees in Poland.

As per details, USD 5 million of the grant was allocated through KSrelief to WHO, and USD 5 million to UNHCR. The aid targeted more than one million beneficiaries. The grant exemplified Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to providing vital aid and services to people in need wherever they live. The goal of KSrelief’s ongoing work with its humanitarian partners is to broaden the scope of its work to help alleviate more suffering and improve more lives, particularly among refugee and displaced groups.

KSrelief has recently handed over medical equipment to provide health care support for Ukrainian refugees in Poland; the aid is part of a USD 10 million grant from Saudi Arabia. Similarly, USD 5 million of the grant was allocated through KSrelief to WHO, and USD 5 million to UNHCR. The aid targeted more than one million beneficiaries.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s support for Ukrainian refugees in Poland and neighboring countries is an extension   of its ongoing humanitarian commitment to helping refugees and other crisis-affected people around the world,” said Supervisor General of KS Relief, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah.

It is also learnt that the equipment was being provided to support the medical staff working to care for Ukrainian refugees. The grant exemplified Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to providing vital aid and services to people in need wherever they live. The goal of KSrelief’s ongoing work with its humanitarian partners is to broaden the scope of its work to help alleviate more suffering and improve more lives, particularly among refugee and displaced groups.
