ISLAMABAD: Eligible motorists are beginning to receive Rs100 per litre petrol relief at participating Byco stations as the company rolls out the Prime Minister’s Fuel Relief Scheme across its nationwide retail network.
Byco, the retail fuel brand of Cnergyico Pk Limited, said a vast majority of its outlets were brought under the scheme within a day of its launch, with additional stations being added to the programme on a daily basis.
The government-funded relief is available to eligible owners of motorcycles, three-wheelers and cars with engine capacity of up to 800cc, subject to the scheme’s terms and conditions.
According to Byco, motorists in cities, towns and on highways across Pakistan are already using the relief at participating stations.
Cnergyico Vice Chairman Usama Qureshi said the company moved rapidly to ensure that eligible motorists could access the government’s relief initiative.
“The speed of this rollout reflects Byco’s operational strength and its commitment to supporting the Government of Pakistan in delivering relief to its intended beneficiaries without delay,” Qureshi said.
Qureshi said Byco was helping make the scheme accessible to commuters across the country.
Eligible motorists are required to register through SMS to 9771 and obtain a fuel relief token before visiting a participating Byco station. Details regarding registration and eligibility are available at pmfuelrelief.pk.
The company said its retail teams were mobilised within hours of the announcement and worked round the clock to assist customers, resolve queries and ensure smooth redemption of fuel relief tokens.
To increase public awareness, Byco has launched a campaign across social media, digital platforms and outdoor advertising, including hoardings, explaining the registration process and encouraging eligible motorists to claim the relief.
Byco said it would continue expanding the scheme’s coverage across its retail network and facilitate eligible customers in accessing the government-funded relief throughout Pakistan.
