ISLAMABAD:The Embassy of Pakistan in Rabat has handed over cricket kits to the RaKrak Salaoui Cricket Association as part of efforts to promote and support the development of cricket in Morocco.
The kits were gifted by M/s RSM Cricket Supplies, Sialkot, at a ceremony held in Rabat, where Ambassador of Pakistan to Morocco Syed Adil Gilani appreciated the association’s efforts to promote cricket, particularly among young players.
Speaking on the occasion, the ambassador highlighted the special place cricket holds in Pakistan and said sports could serve as an effective bridge between peoples and cultures.
He expressed Pakistan’s readiness to explore further cooperation with Moroccan sporting institutions, including exchanges and training opportunities in cricket.
The ambassador also appreciated the contribution of all those who helped make the initiative possible and wished the association, its players and officials continued success.
The initiative reflects Pakistan’s efforts to use sports diplomacy to strengthen people-to-people and cultural ties with Morocco while supporting the growth of cricket among young Moroccan players.
