Saudi Arabia has launched the Aseer Summer Season 2026 with an ambitious program featuring 122 events and 100 bookable experiences, aiming to attract more than three million visitors and further strengthen the Kingdom’s tourism sector under Vision 2030.
The season was inaugurated by Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Aseer Region and Chairman of the Aseer Development Authority, with support from the Ministry of Tourism, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and the National Events Center.
According to the organizers, the season is designed to enhance Aseer’s status as a year-round global tourism destination while generating economic opportunities for local communities.
The program seeks to attract more than three million visitors through 122 events and 100 bookable tourism experiences. It is also expected to create around 3,000 seasonal jobs, achieve a hotel occupancy rate of 55 percent, and generate average visitor spending of SAR1,287.
The season showcases Aseer’s diverse natural and cultural attractions, including mountain landscapes, heritage villages, and outdoor adventure experiences that distinguish the region as one of Saudi Arabia’s leading tourism destinations.
Activities will be held across several governorates of the region and will be supported by more than 14,000 hospitality units, further reinforcing Aseer’s position as a sustainable tourism hub.
