Pakistan’s sports goods industry marked a notable presence at the Africa Sports Expo 2025, being held in Casablanca from December 18 to 20 on the sidelines of the Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Morocco.

Around a dozen Pakistani sports goods exporters are participating in the international exhibition, showcasing a wide range of products including footballs, boxing equipment, sportswear, hand gloves, and other related sporting accessories. The exhibition provides an important platform for Pakistani manufacturers to engage with African and international buyers amid growing demand for quality sports goods in emerging markets.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Morocco, Syed Adil Gilani, visited the exhibition venue and interacted with representatives of Pakistani companies. During his visit, the ambassador highlighted Pakistan’s long-standing expertise in sports goods manufacturing and underscored the country’s growing footprint in the global sports industry. He appreciated the participation of Pakistani exporters and emphasized the importance of leveraging such international events to expand market access in Africa.

The Africa Sports Expo is being held alongside the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, attracting sports professionals, buyers, distributors, and industry stakeholders from across the continent. Pakistani exhibitors are using the opportunity to promote their products, establish business contacts, and explore new export avenues in African markets.

Pakistan is globally recognized for its sports goods sector, particularly in football manufacturing, with its products exported to Europe, the Middle East, and other regions. Participation in the Africa Sports Expo reflects ongoing efforts to diversify export destinations and strengthen trade ties with African countries.
