Saudi Embassy celebrates birthday of the postal stamp issued on Pakistan’s former General Ghulam visit to Saudi Arabia

Saudi Embassy in Islamabad has celebrated the birthday of postal stamp which was issued on Pakistan’s former Governor General Ghulam Muhammad’s historical visit to Saudi Arabia in 1953 and his meeting with Saudi founding King Shah Abdul Aziz.

This postal stamp explains in detail nature and depth of the relationships of the two brotherly countries while the postal stamp also depicts the desires of two countries -Saudi Arabia & Pakistan-to improve and strengthen the bilateral relations and determination to get resolve the problems and issues of Islamic world in a peaceful and amicable manners.

This commemorative postal stamp was issued by Saudi postal corporation in March 1953 in the honour of first Pakistan President who was on his historic visit to Saudi Arabia.

The postal stamp was issued on two colour i-e red & blue and this postal stamp was printed by a factory in Makkah in typograph style.
