ISLAMABAD:
Federal cabinet is likely to pave the path for the appointments of the heads of Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC), Karachi Tools, Dies, and Moulds Centre (KTDMC), National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) and National Commission on Human Rights (NCHR).
According to sources, the federal cabinet scheduled to meet today (Tuesday) is expected to take up 27 agenda point including the important decisions regarding the appointment of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of PASDEC and KTDMC and Chairpersons of NCSW and NCHR.
As per details, Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR), through two separate summaries, has floated two options for consideration regarding the appointment of Chairpersons of NCSW & NCHR. And, the options include implement the decision of Islamabad High Court (IHC) and approve public advertisement or an appeal may be filed seeking suspension of IHC order.
