Saudi Embassy in Pakistan Celebrates World Radio Day with Historic Tribute

ISLAMABAD: On Thursday, the Saudi Embassy in Pakistan commemorated World Radio Day by sharing a video on their X (formerly Twitter) account.
Observed annually on February 13, this year’s celebration featured a video highlighting King Faisal bin Abdulaziz’s 1955 visit to Karachi Radio Station, showcasing historical photographs and information. The content, prepared by the embassy’s media attaché, aims to highlight the historical events and relations between the two brotherly nations, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. An official from the media attaché explained that publishing such historical content aims to further strengthen the fraternal ties between the two countries. They added that the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Pakistan focuses on matters of significance to Pakistan, linking them to Saudi Arabia through historical connections and prominent figures.
